Khaaaaaaaaaaaan
So, work on my thesis commences. And by commences, I mean I currently am banging on the keyboard at 5:15 AM in an effort to rush out a paper on possible ecological solutions to macroeconomic financial instability. I suppose this is the price of hubris. My original intent was to find a novel way to quantify resilience by region and by system within the macroeconomy. Well, to paraphrase Andy Haldane, Executive Director for Financial Stability at the Bank of England it was like "solving a hyperdimensional Sudoku puzzle." Well, there goes my shot at the Nobel. On the upside, talking about ecologically driven fixes is kinda neat too. The biggest advantage? The ability to use mostly plain text, as opposed to symbolic hell.
